Gymboree: Sales Up In Third Quarter

San Francisco-based Gymboree Corporation (GYMB) on Thursday reported net sales for the third quarter of $247.6 million, an increase of 18 percent compared to the same period last year.

Comparable store sales increased 8 percent, as compared to a 16 percent increase in the third quarter last year, the company said in a statement.

The company is now projecting earnings in the range of $0.88 to $0.90 per diluted share.
