Pedestrian struck, seriously injured by car near Golden Gate Park

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries on Tuesday night near San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, according to police.

The collision occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of 37th Avenue and Fulton Street. The victim was transported to a hospital.

The intersection was closed while police investigated the collision.

The driver was cooperating with police.
