Suspect fled the scene on foot

A was shot on the edge of San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood early Saturday, police said Monday.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was shot around 1 a.m. at Broadway and Columbus Avenue and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect left the scene on foot. Police did not provide any suspect description.
