Construction worker critically injured after 40-foot fall

A construction worker was taken to the hospital in serious condition after falling 40 feet from a platform at 11th Street between Market and Mission Streets, authorities report.

The worker reportedly fell at 3:15 p.m. San Francisco Fire Department officals said that they had no further information at this time.
