Fire’s cause under investigation

At least one person was taken to a hospital after a one-alarm fire in San Francisco Monday night, according to police.

The blaze was reported at 8:56 p.m. on the fifth floor of 1700 Broadway, an apartment building, fire officials said. Nobody was injured or displaced after the fire, which was located in an isolated room.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No further information was provided by fire officials.
