PHOENIX — Golden State guard Klay Thompson will not play in the Warriors' game against Phoenix on Sunday because of a sprained right hand.

Thompson is averaging 23.8 points and shooting 40.6 percent from 3-point range for the Warriors, who came in as the NBA's lone unbeaten team.

Leandro Barbosa is expected to start in place of Thompson against his former team.
