Warriors face Clippers twice in preseason

As if they won't get enough of them during the regular season, the Warriors will take on the burgeoning rival Los Angeles Clippers twice during the preseason, too.

The Warriors and Clippers, who played a dramatic seven-game playoff series in the Western Conference quarterfinals last season that LA won, will open up the preseason Oct. 7 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. They will meet again Oct. 21 at Oracle Arena. The Warriors will make it a three-game trip to Southern California to begin the preseason as they will take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 9 at the Staples Center and play the Lakers again Oct. 12 in Ontario.

Three neutral-site games follow: vs. Denver on Oct. 16 at Des Moines, Iowa, vs. Miami on Oct. 16 at Kansas City, Mo., and vs. Houston on Oct. 19 at Hidalgo, Texas.
