USF sweeps its Legends of Kezar night

The Dons won the early game and the nightcap during their turn-back-the-clock night at Kezar Pavilion on Tuesday.

The women’s team beat San Jose State, 79-71, to start the night. Anna Seilund led the way with 22 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including four 3-pointers.

USF’s men’s basketball team beat San Francisco State later in the night, 91-59.

The Gators kept the game close through the first half, but the faster Dons buried a slew of 3-pointers after halftime to bury SFSU.

Chase Foster led all scorers with 22 points. Matt McCarthy, Charles Minlend and Marquill Smith all chipped in 12.
