Street Sense draws No. 8 post

The whole country is yearning for its first Triple Crown winner since 1978. And if Street Sense can win Saturday’s Preakness Stakes, the colt will be two-thirds of the way there. Street Sense, who won the Kentucky Derby by 2¼ lengths, is a 7-5 favorite for Saturday’s race. He will be coming out of the No. 8 post. one spot farther out than Derby runner-up Hard Spun, the 5-2 second choice.
