Sports briefs: Ricci in Sharks' front office

Fan favorite Mike Ricci, who recently retired after a 16-year career due to a neck injury, and former defenseman Bryan Marchment have rejoined the Sharks in off-ice roles. Clubby spills beans

Sooner or later, you knew someone would be the snitch that helped baseball’s steroids investigation. Kirk Radomski, a former New York Mets clubhouse attendant, has given names of players to whom he gave steroids to George Mitchell, the chief of baseball’s probe, SI.com reported. Radomski, who faces up to 25 years in prison following his guilty plea in U.S. District Court to felony charges of distributing steroids and laundering money, recently met with the former Senate majority leader. The timing of the meeting is not clear, but SI.com said it likely occurred before Mitchell met with New York Yankees slugger Jason Giambi.
