Sports briefs: Dragons have their way with machine

The San Francisco Dragons knocked off the Chicago Machine 21-11 to pick up their third win of the season. The Dragons jumped off to an early 6-0 lead and never took the pedal off the metal. Nate Watkins scored his first two goals of the season while Tim Truibig, Jarett Parkand Greg Rommel each added a goal. Goalie Matt Vallone had 19 saves for the Dragons. San Francisco (3-6) travels to Los Angeles to take on the Riptide on Saturday at 7 p.m.
