Sports brief: Sharpova out at Open

Maria Sharapova was knocked out of the French Open semifinals, losing 6-2, 6-1 to Serbian Ana Ivanovic. She will face Justine Henin, who beat Jelena Jankovic 6-2, 6-2, in the final. For the men, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will take a final step to meet in the final today. Defending champ Nadal takes on Novak Djokovic in the semifinals while Federer meets Nikolay Davydenko.
