SF Giants manager Bruce Bochy hospitalized in Miami

San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy was hospitalized in Miami on Monday after feeling ill, team officials said.

Bochy was admitted to University of Miami Hospital and will be monitored overnight. Giants officials said he is resting comfortably and is expected to return to the team on Tuesday.

Bench coach Ron Wotus will serve as manager for the Giants’ game Monday against the Miami Marlins.

Bochy has won three World Series as the Giants’ manager and the team is in first place in the National League West division this year, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers by one game.BaseballBruce BochyGiantsMiamiMLB
