Sacred Heart Cathedral falls to nemesis Valley Christian in NorCal title

Once again, the Sacred Heart Cathedral girls’ volleyball team couldn’t solve the riddle that is Valley Christian of San Jose.

Valley Christian beat Sacred Heart Cathedral on Monday 25-18, 25-14, 25-23 in the CIF Northern California Division III final, ending the Irish’s season and sending the Warriors to Saturday’s state championship.

It’s the fourth time this season SHC has lost to Valley Christian. In Division IV, Menlo School beat Sonora 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 21-25, 15-7 to advance to the state title match.Prep SportsSacred Heart CathedralValley Christian
