S.F. State soccer teams in top 10

The San Francisco State women's soccer team climbed into the top 10 of the National Soccer Coaches Association/adidas NCAA Division II Far West Region rankings.

The Gators moved up to No. 9 after spending a week out of the poll. They went 1-0-1 over the weekend as California Collegiate Athletic Association play opened. The SFSU men dropped from No. 5 to No. 6 after splitting road games to open the CCAA schedule.

Both teams remain on the road this week, facing Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday, then UC San Diego on Sunday.
