Raise an eyebrow? QBs Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson bet one on outcome

More than divisional bragging rights and early playoff positioning may be at stake when the San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Seattle Seahawks on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 2.

In a promotional video for EA Sports' “Madden 25” video game, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson are shown playing the game in a locker room.

“Big game on Sunday,” says Kaepernick.

“You know what we should do. Whoever loses has to shave an eyebrow,” Wilson responds.

“All right, hope you don't like your eyebrow,” Kaepernick says as the two shake hands.

Whether the two follow through on the bet remains to be seen.

The 49ers and Seahawks are considered to have two of the deepest rosters in the league and are among the early-season favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

The NFC West rivals split two meetings last year, both winning at home. Kaepernick was still Alex Smith's backup when the 49ers won in San Francisco, 13-6, in Week 7, and struggled through arguably his most difficult game at Seattle in Week 16, posting a 72.0 passer rating in the Seahawks' 42-13 victory.

Huge Week 1 TV ratings: The 49ers' victory over the Green Bay Packers was the highest-rated and most-watched telecast of any kind since the Academy Awards in February, leading Fox to its best NFL opening week ever. Sunday's game earned a 16.6 rating and was watched by 28.5 million viewers.

49ers activate suspended Dobbs: 49ers defensive tackle Demarcus Dobbs was taken off the reserve-suspended list and added to the active roster, the team announced. To make room on the roster, fullback-defensive tackle Will Tukuafu was waived. Dobbs was suspended in August for the season opener by the NFL for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. He was eligible to return to the roster this week.
