Lincoln (3-1, 1-1 AAA) vs. Mission (3-1, 0-1 AAA) at Kezar Stadium, 3 p.m.
Can Mission slow down David Henderson and the Lincoln running game? The Mustangs’ offensive line paved the way for 451 rushing yards in last week’s 38-32 win over Balboa, including 376 yards and five touchdowns from the incomparable Henderson. The Bears’ defense, led by tackle Joe Kelly and linebackers Harold Ellis and Jacob Frazier, must remained disciplined and tackle well for Mission to win. Also look for Bears quarterback Greg Tucker to throw often, especially with running back DeAngelo Winston’s status uncertain. Winston has missed the past two games with shin splints.
