The A’s announced Wednesday that their postponed April 4 game against the Seattle Mariners will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader at the O.co Coliseum on May 7. The first game will start at 12:35 p.m. and the second game will begin 30 minutes after completion of the opener.
One ticket will be vaild for admission to both games.
The A’s are also offering four complimentary tickets to those who had April 4 tickets to a game during the Seattle series May 5-7.

NOTE: The A’s claimed right-handed pitcher Marcus Walden off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays and optioned him to Triple-A Sacramento. Walden, who was taken in the ninth round of the 2007 draft, was 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA in three relief appearances with Triple-A Buffalo. He spent last season in the starting rotation at Double-A New Hampshire where he went 6-14 with a 3.71 ERA in 26 starts.
