Niners to serve up Thanksgiving

Players for the 49ers and their families will be serving Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday to youth who have aged out of the foster care system as well as chronically homeless adults, veterans, and low-income seniors. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ray and Joan Kroc Salvation Army Corps Community Center at 240 Turk St. The event is part of the 49ers November outreach theme, entitled Respect for Family.
