NFL playoffs lines/picks: Give me Green Bay and New England in the Super Bowl

Green Bay at Atlanta ATL -5 GB +175, ATL -200 +/- 61

Pittsburgh at New England NE -6 PIT +210, NE -250 +/- 51

Lines courtesy William Hill, updated Friday, Jan. 20

Green Bay ML

It’s silly, but I find it hard to bet on the Falcons to do anything positive in the playoffs. I’ve seen them burned too many times. Give me Aaron Rodgers and the odds of picking an underdog to win outright.

Green Bay/Atlanta — over

Not tough to figure out why this is the right pick, as two bad defenses go against two great offenses. If it’s close at all, it’s going over. Put it this way, if it doesn’t, then the 49ers should wonder if Kyle Shanahan is right for them.

New England -6

The Patriots are going to make Roger Goodell acknowledge them by earning a trip to the Super Bowl.

New England/Pittsburgh — under

Ben Roethlisberger has been consistently bad on the road this season. It doesn’t get easier going into Foxborough.

Playoffs: 5-3

Overall: 49-38-1
