Jimmy Garoppolo can’t stop winning

Jimmy Garoppolo is still undefeated this season.

The 49ers quarterback got a nice pay bump on Sunday after the New England Patriots advanced to their third Super Bowl in four years.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Garoppolo has earned $79,000 in bonuses so far this postseason. But wait, there’s more on the horizon for him if the Pats continue to win:

Garoppolo has had an enviable last few months. He was traded from the cold Northeast to beautiful California to be the quarterback of the future of a rebuilding organization centered around one of the best offensive coaches in the NFL, Kyle Shanahan. He led the Niners to five-straight wins, including a Week 16 beatdown of the Jacksonville Jaguars — who just lost to the Pats, triggering a sweet payday.

Getting paid to watch your former teammates win while you incur absolutely zero risk of getting hit? If that isn’t another win for Garoppolo, I don’t know what is.
