Giovanni Soto claimed by White Sox a week after A’s nabbed him from Cubs

The Oakland Athletics claimed lefty Giovanni Soto during the World Series when the Chicago Cubs made him available to clear space on the roster for Kyle Schwarber.

On Monday, the A’s announced the Chicago White Sox claimed the 25-year old pitcher off waivers.

He remains a no-risk, potential high-reward addition — just for Chicago’s other team now.
