Gaudin signs on eve of A's FanFest

The A’s finished off the re-signing of their arbitration-eligible players when they agreed to a one-year, $1.775 million contract with right-hander Chad Gaudin.

The A’s also claimed outfielder Jeff Fiorentino off waivers from Cincinnati and designated right-hander Ruddy Lugo for assignment.

The moves come as the A’s have their annual FanFest today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McAfee Coliseum.
