Dickson quits BMW Oracle

Following a very disappointing 5-1 loss in the best-of-nine Louis Vuitton Cup semifinals, skipper and chief executive Chris Dickson of San Francisco’s BMW Oracle Racing has resigned. After easily finishing secondin qualifying, the Americans and the record budget of $270 million flopped against Luna Rossa of Italy.
