Academy of Art University men’s basketball team won its first game of the season on Saturday thanks to a 17-0 run. The Urban Knights beat Missouri S&T, 70-50. Freshman Nick Conway set a new career-best by scoring 14. Art U has had a tough go of the season so far, starting 1-5.

After losing their first game of the Fresno City Tournament, the City College of San Francisco men’s basketball won its final two games by a combined 51 points. Terrell Brown led the way in the Rams’ 122-84 victory over Barstow by scoring 23 points.
