Bay Raiders win big to force Game 3

Regular-season MVP Marquel Hoskins scored 24 points as the top-seeded Bay Raiders beat defending champion SF City 112-93 Wednesday at Kezar Pavilion to force a Game 3 of the San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am championship series.

Game 3 is Friday at 8 p.m. at Kezar.

Former Riordan High School and St. Mary’s College player Rob Jones chipped in 19 for the Bay Raiders, who bounced back from a lethargic performance in Monday’s Game 1, a 120-86 win by SF City.

Chauncey Leslie scored 23 points and Justin Dentmon 18 for SF City, which could be without a few key players in Game 3 due to commitments to European teams.Other Sports
