49ers, Visa take kids on a shopping trip

A group of San Francisco 49ers players will take 30 children from Samaritan House in San Mateo on a Christmas shopping trip Tuesday.

Visa is providing the players with $250 gift cards to help the children purchase items.

Samaritan House provides a broad range of assistance to low-income residents and families.

Every Tuesday throughout the football season, 49ers players participate in a community event.
