Meals on Wheels prepares to deliver thousands of Thanksgiving dinners

Hundreds of volunteers are scheduled to flock to Meals on Wheels Thursday, November 23, assisting with delivering around 4,800 meals to clients along 220 routes throughout San Francisco for the Thanksgiving holiday. At the Meals on Wheels headquarters, employees spent the previous week preparing special meals with a menu consisting of turkey, ham, stuffing, vegetables, pumpkin tarts and other holiday favorites.
