June Jordan community comes together following shooting

Students and faculty of June Jordan School of Equity came together to discuss their thoughts and feelings after four students were injured in a shooting in the school’s parking lot Tuesday, October 16. Many of those who attend June Jordan sported school spirit t-shirts the day following the shooting while others created supportive posters and colored the parking lot where the scene unfolded with inspiring messages written in chalk. Around 11 a.m., all members of the June Jordan community formed a large circle to stand in solidarity with those affected and inspire unity throughout the campus. Photos by Jessica Christian/S.F.
