Dueling groups stage separate rallies on controversial Mission housing project

Community members affiliated with the Plaza 16 Coalition marched through the Mission District to oppose a proposed housing development at 1979 Mission Street that overlooks the 16th Street Mission BART plaza, while community members affiliated with Mission For All rallied at City Hall in favor of the project moving forward on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.
