Chinatown holds candlelight vigil for Mayor Ed Lee

San Francisco city officials joined hundreds of members of the Chinatown community for a candlelight vigil at Portsmouth Square Thursday, December 21 to honor the late mayor who passed away suddenly last Tuesday, December 12. Acting Mayor London Breed as well as API Council’s Anni Chung, Asian Law Caucus Don Tamaki, and others from the community spoke about the mayor’s legacy and achievements while in office while community members held up candles in his memory.
