4/20 celebration descends on Hippie Hill in SF

Thousands gathered at Hippie Hill in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park Thursday, April 20, 2017 to celebrate the annual 4/20 holiday and smoke with friends, traditionally at 4:20 p.m. City sanctions put some restrictions on the event such as required vendor permits and heavier police presence, marking the first officially organized 4/20 celebration since the start of the annual gathering.
