Protesters glue school doors to block governor

Protesters glued shut the front door locks at Messmer Preparatory School in Milwaukee in an attempt to block Gov. Scott Walker from visiting there to read to children. Large-scale demonstrations have been happening all year in Wisconsin in opposition to Walker’s rollback of collective bargaining powers for public workers. “People ought to start acting like adults,” said Br. Bob Smith, president of Messmer Catholic Schools. “You make something political when it isn’t, that’s just flat-out wrong.”
