Newfound respect for the Blue Angels

Newfound respect for the Blue Angels

I’m writing to let you know how much I enjoyed Sally Stephens’s article concerning the Blue Angels. I’m still of the opinion that The City could probably fund and staff a 250-bed children’s hospital for all the money spent on the angels.

I still feel rather indignant about this expensive, yearly display. But at least now I have an enormous respect for the pilots themselves, which I did not have until I read her article.
