Dirty Money Watch: Rep. John Mica, R-Fla.

WHO:Rep. John Mica, R-Fla.

WHAT: Mica received $1,000 from General Motors' Political Action Committee.

WHY IT'S DIRTY: General Motors was the recipient of a $60 billion taxpayer bailout last year that has not been paid back, so the automaker has no right to curry congressional favor at Americans' expense.

WILL MICA GIVE IT BACK? Mica did not respond to The Examiner's request for comment.

DONATED THIS OR OTHER DIRTY MONEY WATCH-HIGHLIGHTED CONTRIBUTIONS TO CHARITY: No congressman has returned a GM donation yet.

YOUR TURN: You can reach Mica's Washington office at (202) 225-4035.

Don't know who is your congressman? Go to house.gov and look in the upper left-hand corner.

Don't know who are your state's two senators? Go to senate.gov and look in the upper right-hand corner.
