Daily Outrage: Ammiano curses and yells ‘You lie’ at Schwarzenegger

WHAT: Besides shouting “You lie,” Assemblyman Tom Ammiano also used seriously bad language in inviting Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to kiss his … [posterior]. Master of ceremonies Willie Brown had invited the Republican governor to make a surprise drop-in at a San Francisco Democratic fundraiser and tell a few jokes, but the booing began as soon as Schwarzenegger was introduced.

WHY IT’S A BAD IDEA: Anybody who thinks it was a bonehead move for South Carolinia Rep. Joe Wilson to yell “You lie” at President Barack Obama during his health care speech to Congress should be equally offended by Ammiano’s juvenile behavior. What ever happened to grown-up political debate about America’s real issues? What’s next, fistfights on legislative floors?
