Bright bulb: Hibernia Building gets a new owner

The historic Hibernia Bank building at Market and Jones streets, which has been fenced off and empty since 2000, has sold for $3.95 million to a commercial developer who plans to improve it and rent it as business space.

The striking 38,000-square-foot domed structure needs extensive work, though.
