Boy allegedly set deadly fires with water pipe

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the forest fires that raged through Israel, killing at least 42 people.

Israeli police said the boy admitted he set the fire with a tobacco water pipe when he threw some burning coals into an open area in the Carmel forest. He reportedly told police he panicked, fled the scene and returned to school without telling anyone.
