Young man grazed in hip by gunfire in Bayview shooting

A young man was injured in a shooting in the Bayview on Friday, police said Monday.

The 18-year-old victim was reportedly grazed in the hip by gunfire in the 1600 block of Quesada Street about 3:40 p.m., police said. Officers arrived to the scene on calls of shots fired but the victim wasn’t there.

The victim later walked in to the hospital for treatment of his injury, which was not life threatening.

The victim was not cooperative with police and there was no further information Monday morning.
