Yee to be honored as Legislator of the Year

The state senator will be recognized today as Legislator of the Year by the San Francisco Women’s Political Committee. The organization chose Yee in recognition of the laws he has authored to protect children, assist families and focus on the needs of women. He’s also the chair of the White Ribbon Campaign, which strives to get more men to speak out on violence against women.
