Xue Zhong Mi, 67, found murdered in Outer Sunset garage

Police are hunting for a murderer after a 67-year-old man was found fatally shot in the garage of his Outer Sunset district home on Saturday.

Just before 6 p.m., police said, a family friend went to the home in the 1800 block of 44th Avenue to pick up items and found Xue Zhong Mi lying in the garage.

A Medical Examiner discovered a gunshot wound to the back of Mi’s head and declared the death a homicide.

There are currently no suspects, police said Monday.
