Woman stabs other woman with broken bottle in Sunnydale

A woman was injured by another woman who reportedly stabbed the victim several times with a broken bottle in Sunnydale on Saturday, police said.

The incident was reported about 12:40 a.m. in the area of Santos Street and Velasco Avenue. The two women were arguing before the stabbing, police said.

The victim was hospitalized for her injuries, which were not life-threatening.

Little description of the suspect, who fled and was not found, was provided to police.
