Woman stabbed in Hayes Valley, alleged attacker arrested

A 21-year-old woman was stabbed Saturday morning allegedly by a man who was then arrested, according to police.

Police had few details about the 2:20 a.m. incident, which occurred in the 600 block Linden Street.

The alleged attacker, a man in his late 30s or early 40s, was arrested after the stabbing and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Her wounds were not life threatening.
