A 40-year-old man was slashed with a knife during a quarrel over a woman in the Tenderloin Sunday night, police said.
The man was arguing with a 46-year-old woman on the sidewalk near Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street around 10 p.m. when she cut his forearm, police said.
Officers arrived and arrested Nicole Vermillion, of San Francisco, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence, Officer Albie Esparza said.
She was later booked into County Jail.
The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of the small laceration on his forearm, which is not considered life threatening.
