Woman shot in hand by unknown shooter

A 31-year-old woman was shot in the hand as she walked down the street in the Design District Friday morning, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The shooting at 3:23 a.m. occurred at Division Street and Potrero Avenue.

The victim heard a shot ring out and then realized she had been hit, but she did not see any shooter.

She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after the incident.

No arrests have been made.
