Woman robbed of tablet in lobby of Union Square building

A woman was robbed at gunpoint in the lobby of a Union Square building Monday, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was sitting in the lobby of a building in the first block of Maiden Lane about 4:06 p.m. when two men walked in and pointed a gun at her, police said.

They demanded the victim turn over her tablet and, after a struggle, they took the tablet and fled.

The victim attempted to chase after them, but one of the crooks pushed her back inside the lobby, police said.

No arrests have been made.
