Woman killed in Ingleside Heights domestic violence stabbing

A woman was killed in a stabbing in San Francisco’s Ingleside Heights neighborhood Sunday afternoon in what police described as a domestic violence incident.

Police responded around 2:11 p.m. to the first block of Chester Avenue in an area between Brotherhood Way and Alemany Boulevard jfust east of state Highway 1.

A woman was transported to the hospital, where she died of her injuries.

An adult male suspect was also transported and is being treated for what appear to be self-inflicted stab wounds, police said.
