Woman injured in SF shooting

A 28-year-old woman was shot in the thigh Tuesday night in Bayview-Hunters Point, according to the police.

At 11:30 p.m., the victim was walking near Middle Point and West Point roads when she heard a gunshot. When she looked down she noticed she had been hit in the leg.

She was treated at San Francisco General Hospital and her wound was not life-threatening.

Police did not release any suspect information.
