Woman injured in Mission bar fight

A woman sustained injuries early Friday morning in an assault at a bar on the 2200 block of Mission Street.

Shortly after midnight the victim bumped into another woman at the bar. The suspect then hit the victim over the head with an alcohol bottle, causing her to fall and sustain injuries. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Police were called, and the victim was transported to the hospital. Her condition was listed as non-life threatening.
