Woman in stable condition after hanging on to moving vehicle

A female apparently held onto a vehicle as it was traveling down a street in San Francisco early this morning and is refusing to talk to police about the incident, according to officials.

Officers responded to Taylor and O'Farrell streets shortly after 3 a.m. A female was injured after holding onto a vehicle that was driven for an unknown distance, police said.

The vehicle subsequently left the scene, according to police.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where she is listed in stable condition, police said.

The victim refused to answer officer's questions or give her name, according to officials.
